Well, I’ve tweaked it a bit - seems the left padding was a bit wonky - but overall the template works very well in blogger.

I deleted the flickr sidebar - I’m just not a photographer. And I switched the order of some of the other sidebar items, which was pretty easy for a novice like myself.

Thanks again for all your help, Ghyslain.

1) In theme Rounded V2 blue edition I want to modify the text size of title post; well in stylesheet.css but the line code is…?

2) I want to change the size of the border, only the bottom, in all post… which are the files to modify?

thanks in advance for all response ;)

Ghyslain Says:

1- Open style.css, on line 141 you’ll find “h3 a”, just change font-size value.
2- to change borders you have to edit main.psd, then overwrite csbbody-l.gif and csbbody-r.gif

iCV Says:

the last… for now ;)

3) In theme Rounded V2 blue edition; where is the class to modify for change text size of comments?

Thanks so much for making the rounded blue v2 theme. It is gorgeous and I’ve been having a ton of fun trying to customize it!

Sean Says:

I’ve been accused of being overly wordy, but screw it, I like it. The template works fantastically (check the link) but unfortunately, the white background on the posts only covers posts of a certain length. This one, for example (http://seangstmfortressofsolitude.blogspot.com/2006/08/and-knowing-is-half-battle.html), isn’t covered entirely…how can I fix it? I hope you understand what I mean.

Sean Says:

Ah, after a little research, I just increased the size of the appropriate images.

Please ignore the question!

Thanks anyway.

Sean Says:

Okay, I should clarify - making the images longer didn’t help as to make it long enough to cover the entire length of my longest blog entry created a file too large to load properly and my entire blog became a jittery mess.
I did find another solution, however, by turning off the ‘no-repeat’ option for the particular image in question. The lest side is slightly dirty, but it it looks better than having no contrasting background, IMHO.
If we had a post top and post bottom image, the middle bit could have the ‘no-repeat’ removed and it would solve this problem, but I can’t program for crap so it’ll have to be someone elses project.

Thanks for the great template.

Ghyslain Says:

Hi Sean, turning off the ‘no-repeat’ option wouldn’t resolve the pb as long as the whole site container will be liquid. To achieve what you want you’ll have to fix a width. Do you get me ?

Knight Says:

Hi, i havining the same issue, any tips what to do to solve ?

Road Says:

Is there a way to put the comment list on the bottom of the post so that there’s more room for larger images in the post window?

Road Says:

What’s a good technique to modify the color? I know that all the .gif images have to be changed. What programs should I use? I think the template looks great, but I’d rather have it in a different color.
Thanks

Matthew Hall Says:

quick question, what is the default code for making the boxes on the sidebar. I tried figuring it out myself, and i just kept breaking it

Bee Says:

I love this template!!

But I’m kind of frustrated. I too had the same problem Sean (posted above) did - my first post is really long and the images for the post content weren’t big enough so there was this huge block where it was devoid of the background image or little side images. I went and put “background: #FFFFFF;” in the “.thecontent” class - so now there is a big white box (which was better than the background poking through . . . but still) - as you can see at the top of the post - where there is no side images.

How can I fix this?! I consider myself pretty efficient at coding and can usually trial and error out solutions - but I’m MAJORLY stuck on this. How do you make it so that posts will have the side images and background no matter how long they get?

Once again - love the template - just wish there was a fix to make sure the images are going to show up even on really long posts!

As an experienced user of blogger, I feel I can honestly say that this template is one of the best free blogger templates that are available on the internet today. The integration of ajax looks very professional, and the overal design of the template is very pleasing to the eye. I will enjoy customising it, once I’ve gotten tired of my current theme.

HEllo Ghyslain,

I have been trying to download your template which I love, but am getting the same message as Umi in blogger:

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.

Please help. I would love to use this template.
Thanks

Ghyslain Says:

Hi Kozzy, I’m sorry but blogger isn’t really familiar to me, I’ve never looked at it seriously so I can’t help you for that. Sorry. Thanks anyway for trying to use my theme.

Your themes are awesome and I really hope that you will be able to make V2 for blogger. Just love it and I have received compliments on the design. You did a great job. I look forward to seeing more. Wish I could be talented like this lol.

I’ve just spent several very frustrating hours trying to change all the images in the template only for it not to work in blogger beta! any chance of a fix? I would love to use this template..thanks

Bill Morehouse Says:

Just a word of thanks for your Blogger template. I fussed with it quite a bit to make it work for our application, but I think you’ll like the result. The white comments text was too light against the pale blue background to be legible, so I darkened the text but would much rather have darkened the background the way it is in your WordPress version. Is there any simple way to do this in the Blogger version? Thanks again!

morcillaking Says:

man that’s awesome, i got it in mine, and wow, by the way don’t you have another one for blogger?

XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.”

Big Big Big bIG THANKS!

I created my account at blogger a couple of days back. Liked this theme very much but it does not work for me as for many who have reported the problem above. How can i fix this?

Karin Says:

Hi! I love your template and is currently installing it onto my blogger. Looks great so far but I’m experiencing the same problem Sean and Bee is having where long post has this break in the background. What does it mean when you replied to Sean stating “To achieve what you want you’ll have to fix a width”? What width needs to be changed?

T H A N K Y O U !!!

Suntzu Says:

Hi Ghyslain,
My problem is very simple to explain, but for me that i`m not an experienced user this kind of problem seems kind of hard to solve.
I`ve made all the requirements that are showed in the blogger templates . org, but in my blog most of the images don`t appear, i`m using it in a test blog so i won`t mess up the one i wanna change. if someone could help i would very much appreciate that.
Here i`m testing it http://casaderepousodesantateresinha.blogspot.com/
thanks again

NiuNiu Says:

Hi Ghyslain,
First of all, I’d like to thank you for sharing such great template with us. The design is just brilliant!
However, as I was trying to save the template, I had same difficulty as what some people mentioned above. The template could not be parsed due to XML error. With little knowledge about web design, I’ve been spending several hours in front of my laptop, but still got no clue about it. It would be great if someone could let me know how he fixes the problem.
Ghyslain, keep up the good work! Look forward to seeing more great work from you!

Robert Says:

Since blogger is out of beta, they now require that the templates would be a valid xml. can the author make this?

thanks.

Komeng Says:

for those of you who gets the XML error on blogger, please take note that there are 2 version of template system are available on Blogger.
1. XML system
2. the HTML a.k.a Classic system

The Rounded v2 blue uses the HTML/Classic system. Please change to Classic before applying the template code.

Mind you, using the classic template you lose the ability do drag around the widget in order to position the widgets.

sundae Says:

Hi Ghyslain!

Your template rocks! But I’m having the same problem with Sean. And I can’t fix it - I’m dummies at editing css.

Anyone are welcome to reply me. I’m at http://perpuz.blogspot.com

Huge thanks for your help.

Tamani Says:

Hello, i have the same XML problem, where can i chance in Classic? (Komeng said something about that).
Sorry for my english, i´m from germany and i love the template VERY MUCH!
